Welcome to Unethical Hacks — the least unethical site on the internet, despite the name.
Here’s the deal: we collect the little cheats, shortcuts, and slightly devious maneuvers that make family life survivable. The kind of stuff your grandmother knew instinctively and parenting books charge you $24.99 to explain badly.
Nothing here is actually unethical. We’re not teaching you to forge report cards or gaslight a toddler (much). We’re teaching you how to get a four-year-old into pajamas before 9 PM, how to rescue a white onesie from a turmeric incident, and how to serve vegetables in a way that doesn’t trigger a UN-level standoff.
The name started as a joke between two exhausted parents who realized that every genuinely effective parenting trick felt mildly illegal — like hiding the broccoli inside the mac and cheese, or telling the kids the iPad “needs to sleep too.” It stuck.
What you’ll find here:
- Bedtime tactics that end negotiations before they begin
- Laundry wizardry for clothes that see more mud than most hiking boots
- Snack diplomacy, screen-time treaties, and other household geopolitics
- Occasional product recommendations — only stuff we’d actually buy with our own money
Pull up a chair. The coffee’s cold, the laundry’s never done, and that’s exactly why we’re here.
